AquaHacking 2017 Summit

Join us at Elsevier's 4th Water Research Conference "The Role of Water technology innovation in the Blue Economy" from September 10 to 13, 2017, in Waterloo, Ontario. This international water conference aims to highlight, discuss and advance state-of-the-art thinking and research to support the transition towards a Blue Economy, in particular the role of water science and technological innovation in fostering sustainable water use.

The 2017 AquaHacking Summit: United for the Lake Erie has been integrated into the 4th Water Research Conference, on September 13th and will take plate at the Federation Hall at the University of Waterloo. This year’s AquaHacking Summit is dedicated to the conservation of Lake Erie and will focus on algae bloom and phosphorus reductions, as well as other efforts to protect and restore the waters of the Great Lakes. We will also showcase our Youth Delegation and announce the winners of our AquaHacking Challenge from among the 5 finalist teams of digital designers, water experts, and business entrepreneurs who dare working on innovative technologies for Lake Erie water issues.

Who Should Attend ?

Scientists, experts in the water field and multi-stakeholder organizations involved in the management and conservation of Lake Erie, heads of sustainable development and social responsibility within public and private sectors, elected officials, municipalities, students, techies and citizens interested in the health of the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence Basin.
