For  2018, AquaHacking seeks to improve water quality for four specific topics. Each topic engages government  regulation of water quality, but each topic and challenge engages different  laws, regulations and  approvals. This summary begins by  outlining  laws  that  have  common  application  to  one  or  more  of  the  four AquaHacking  challenges. It concludes  with a review of laws specific  to  each  challenge.

Please, note that this framework focuses on  Ontario laws,  not  all  local  jurisdictions  are  participating in the  2018 AquaHacking  challenge.
